Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist located in an urban healthcare setting is responsible for performing specialized radiographic procedures within the Medical Imaging Interventional Radiology department. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality image production, and maintaining safety and compliance standards to support patient care excellence.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs prescribed radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures following departmental policies and protocols. Ensures optimal patient care and treatment aligned with established standards.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by a state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification; 2 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: May be required to float to additional locations based on staffing needs. Inclusive of neuro/stroke experience; previous travel experience preferred; does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: May direct the activities of students and support staff.
