Ultrasonographer General (General Ultrasound) in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing a full range of ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining efficient patient service. The position requires a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and patient transport, supporting scheduled and unscheduled exams.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures, produces diagnostic images, processes films, maintains equipment, and transports patients as needed.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS (AHA) certification, ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer credential; 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in an acute care hospital setting; valid CA State License.
- Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role includes weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities, with orientation modules to complete during onboarding.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should submit applicable certifications with valid expiration dates and work history documentation covering the last 7 years. References from within the past year are required.
