Job Summary
Mammographer in the specialty of Mammography Technology, located in the specified healthcare facility. This position involves performing advanced mammography procedures, including biopsies, localizations, and digital imaging, with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality breast imaging services.
Job Details
- Qualifications: ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R), Mammography Certification, BLS Certification, Oregon license, with at least 1 year of experience in mammography.
- Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Oregon license, Mammography.
- Experience: Mammography experience, including biopsies and localizations; Hologic equipment experience preferred; familiarity with digital mammography, 3-D mammography, and stereotactic biopsies.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with advanced mammography equipment including Trident and Hologic systems, and performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as biopsies and localizations. Responsibilities include following safety protocols, core measures, and quality assurance procedures. Candidates may be required to work during specified holidays with upfront scheduling requests during submittal.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to whether they have worked at a Providence facility previously, submit two references covering at least one year within the past three years, and meet all licensing and background policies.
