Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in the Specialty of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory The position involves working in a healthcare facility on weekdays, primarily during daytime hours, with call responsibilities during nights and weekends. The role requires operating proficiently within diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, including complex patient types, and collaborating closely with the care team.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), WA State License (required to apply), BLS, and ACLS. Experience with patient types including diagnostic/interventional Cath Lab procedures (such as LHC/RHC, NSTEMI/STEMI management, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, loop recorders). Experience with electrophysiology procedures (Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes). Experience with interventional radiology procedures (G and GJ tubes, nephrostomy, nephroureteral stents, IVC filter placements, tunneled and temporary dialysis catheters, ports, GI coil and chemo embolizations, thoracostomy, Inari clot extraction, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, Y90s, TIPS, biopsies).

  • Additional Information: This role involves scrub operating table, patient monitoring, and indirect participation in high-acuity procedures requiring quick adaptation and safety compliance.
  • On-Call: Yes, 1-2 nights/week, 1-2 weekends/month with a 30-minute response time.
