Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist, Peds located in Tulsa. This role involves providing intensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilator management, airway management, and patient education. The position requires a skilled provider capable of operating various ventilatory equipment and performing related procedures, with an immediate start available.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 0 years required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• The Respiratory Therapist will deliver quality patient care, including ventilator weaning, airway management, arterial punctures, and assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oxygen and aerosol therapy, and pulmonary function studies.
• Conducts assessments and reviews such as chest x-rays, EKG, and capnography monitoring.
• Performs tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes, both emergent and non-emergent.
• Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment, ensuring adherence to policies regarding laboratory testing where applicable.
• Records treatment data accurately, communicates with physicians, and ensures proper documentation.
• Assists in equipment maintenance, repair, and performs CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Performs all duties with minimal supervision, maintaining patient safety and care standards.
