Job Summary
The Ultrasonographer General position is based at a healthcare facility in Tucson. This role involves performing prescribed ultrasound procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The position requires flexibility to float between campuses and respond promptly to call requirements.
Job Details
- Certifications: Must have national certification in the area of specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International; BLS certification required.
- Education Requirements: Related education preferred.
- Location Requirements: Must be able to respond to a call within 30 minutes.
- Years of Experience: 0-2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
- Specialty: Ultrasonographer General.
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shift.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Acute Ultrasound Technologist based at the Tucson Campus (650-bed Level I Trauma) with floating to South Campus (250-bed Level III Trauma) as needed. Shifts include any day, including weekends, with call approximately 3-4 times a month over any day or weekend.
