Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, available in the local healthcare facility. This position involves scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations, with potential involvement in electrophysiology cases. The role requires working in a fast-paced acute care environment, providing critical support during diverse cardiovascular procedures.

Job Details

Position Description: Responsible for scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart caths, and potentially scrub devices and work in electrophysiology cases. Utilizes equipment such as Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy systems, EPIC, Pyxis, and Xcelera.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting.
Schedule: Rotating shifts of 4-10 hours, varying between 0530-1600, 0630-1700, and 0730-1800, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The position includes on-call duties, one call per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with monitoring in XIM, scrubbing, and circulating effectively in electrophysiology procedures.
Additional Information: Orientation will focus on monitoring in XIM and effective scrub and circulate skills. No floating to other units is required. The unit features eight fluoroscopy rooms and one minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy.
