Job Summary
Polysomnographer in the specialty of sleep technology, located at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing diagnostic polysomnography and related tests, recording accurate data for physicians to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep and wake disorders. The position requires working night shifts with the potential for floating to different units as needed.

Job Details

  • Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists; ND state license; minimum of 2 years sleep study experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, Sunday through Tuesday (may vary slightly depending on need); minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Performing quality diagnostic polysomnographic procedures, titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests; recording proper data for physicians' review; utilizing EPIC charting and natus software for sleep studies.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registration by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or American Academy of Sleep Medicine is required; ND state license required or willing to wait for license; BLS certification mandatory.
  • Additional Information: Floating to other units/departments may be required; no call is necessary; shifts primarily on nights with an expected schedule that may include weekends and holidays, excluding major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
