Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) in a healthcare facility This role involves providing cardiopulmonary services to pediatric patients. The respiratory therapist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive interventions, and manage ventilator support, airway maintenance, and blood gases.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.
• Required Qualifications: Must have NBRC RRT or CRT certification, Ohio RT license, ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
