Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in the Physical Therapist Outpatient specialty. This position involves assisting in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for patients in an outpatient setting, supporting the Physical Therapist in achieving patient care goals within a safe and collaborative environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School, CAPTE Certification, 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience, CPR Certification, active license for the state where work will be performed, and 0 years minimum experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, training patients in locomotion and use of assistive devices, demonstrating modalities, monitoring patient responses, documenting progress, and maintaining safety and infection control standards.
• Demonstrates good patient and family education practices, maintains professional relationships, participates in team conferences, and adheres to clinic policies and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including participating in quality improvement projects and sharing current literature and case studies with peers.
