Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI St. Louis, MO
This MRI Technologist position is based at a healthcare facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The role involves performing specialized magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients, producing diagnostic images interpreted by radiologists. The position requires a professional with strong communication and patient care skills, capable of working independently and within a team.

Job Details

Schedule: Evenings, 4x10s (2:30 pm 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday); potential to work Tuesday through Friday with notice
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Position created as a contractor replacement for a duration of 16 weeks, starting 11/02/2026 and ending 02/01/2027
Required Qualifications: ARRT licensure; BLS certification; successful completion of an accredited Radiography program; minimum of 2+ years of experience; MRI registry preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE 1.5 and 3T MRI systems; outgoing, friendly, patient-oriented personality; dependable and reliable
Additional Information: Performs specialized MRI procedures on a diverse patient population, including vented patients and anesthesia cases, ensuring MRI safety principles are applied; able to push/pull up to 46 lbs, carry 25 lbs, grip up to 50 lbs, bend and reach for extended periods, and demonstrate good hand-eye coordination; must be available for entire week of orientation
Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available for orientation on the first day; current ARRT registration required upon hire with the goal of obtaining an advanced MRI registry within 1 year
