Electrophysiology (EP) Technician - LaCrosse, WI. This role involves supporting electrophysiology procedures within a specialized cardiac unit. The position requires assisting in scrubbing, monitoring, and imaging, ensuring smooth procedure flow in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: EP Tech 9-hour days (36 GSA) 12-week contract at a healthcare facility.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: RCES and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-3+ years in specialty; previous travel experience strongly preferred. Must have electrophysiology (EP) experience, including skills in scrub, X-ray, and monitoring roles.
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts, working from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Job Responsibilities: Assist in ablations and device procedures with three electrophysiology MDs, supporting 3-5 cases daily. Provide coverage for scrubbing, monitoring, and imaging tasks, with experience in Epic and MaClab charting systems preferred.
- Submission Notes: Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or 24 hours for a quick start.
