X-ray Technologist in the XRAY TECH specialty, located in New Mexico. This full-time position involves performing radiographic procedures requested by physicians and radiologists, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The role requires interpreting advanced anatomy and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT certification, New Mexico State licenses, BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association, high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, zero years of experience required.
• Schedule: 3 Days, 12-Hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures according to established protocols, preparing and orienting patients, ensuring radiation protection, operating imaging equipment, maintaining documentation, and keeping the work area clean and stocked.
• The role requires thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, anatomy, physiology, positioning, and basic computers.
• The candidate must be able to manipulate imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images and respond quickly to surgeon needs, with a focus on patient safety and care.
• On-call and weekend shifts are required, and floating to other locations may be necessary.
• Submission of all relevant certifications and licenses is required for consideration.
