Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the specified location, this role involves providing pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients within a hospital setting. The position requires minimal supervision, delivering respiratory assessments, therapy plans, and technical procedures across various hospital departments to support patient health and recovery.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RT or RCP License in state of employment required; BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA required; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, implementing respiratory care plans, performing technical procedures such as airway management, ventilator setup and operation, blood gas collection and analysis, and collaborating with healthcare team members during patient emergencies.
• Responsibilities also involve airway device placement, oxygen delivery support, and participation in hospital surveys and protocols.
• The candidate must have adult ICU critical care experience and hold a valid RT or RCP license in the state of employment.
