Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist in the specialty of Cardiac Catheterization works at a healthcare providers invasive cardiology unit. The position involves providing specialized care and support in a facility equipped with advanced cardiovascular treatment capabilities, including complex procedures such as ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO and structural heart interventions. The role emphasizes procedural monitoring, arrhythmia management, and assisting with electrophysiology procedures.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 4X10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No weekends, call, or holidays required.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS); previous electrophysiology (EP) experience; valid EPIC charting system experience preferred; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; current license to practice in the state of assignment.
  • Additional Information: The candidate will assist with invasive cardiology procedures including arrhythmia monitoring, EKG lead placement, device insertions, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Care may include caring for COVID-19 patients in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.
  • Submission Requirements: Clinical qualification review and manager interview. Candidates must be available for a stay of up to 7 days.
