Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a General Ultrasonographer (Ultrasonographer General) in an acute care setting. This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including OB/GYN, vascular, and general ultrasound studies, with a focus on quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), and OB/GYN certification.
• Education Requirements: Certification in OB/GYN Sonography.
• Location Requirements: Not specified.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing all general ultrasound exams, vascular studies, and participating in department-specific procedures using GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment.
• Department handles approximately 8-16 scans or studies per day and may require occasional coverage in other areas.
• The candidate must be OB certified and willing to rotate call or standby.
• The position involves working with Cerner electronic medical records and PACS imaging software.
• The department has a radiology supervisor, no in-house radiologist, and does not use Registered Radiology Assistants.
• The start date is 11/16/2026, with the assignment ending on 02/15/2027.
