Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) Tallahassee, FL. This position involves providing occupational therapy services within an inpatient setting, focusing on assessing patient functioning, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and discharge planning.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, current State license
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Specialty: Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP)
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, beginning 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027
- Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations, planning and implementing treatment, supervising staff and students, documenting patient progress, and participating in discharge planning and interdisciplinary team conferences
- Additional clinical duties: Promotes patient and staff safety, maintains confidentiality, and ensures documentation accuracy
