Job Details

  • Position Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for executing basic nuclear medicine studies, primarily stress tests, using Siemens cameras in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working with a small team and sharing evening and weekend call duties with other technologists.
  • Required Qualifications: California State license, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, minimum 1 year of related experience, and the ability to work in the specified location.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support of basic studies, stress tests, and routine nuclear medicine procedures; participation in shared weekend and evening call duties; adherence to departmental protocols.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to specific questions regarding prior experience with Providence facilities, references covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs), and indicate any previous employment at Providence in various capacities.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system and prior community hospital experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
