Job Summary
Xray Technologist Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing radiologic imaging services in both Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room (OR) settings. The role demands adherence to state and federal regulations, proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, current IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) license, fluoroscopy experience, emergency department and operating room experience, current BCLS (American Heart Association) certification, knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, graduate of an accredited program by JRCERT, proficiency in computer skills.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role requires familiarity with state and federal regulations related to radiologic services. Candidates should possess at least one year of clinical radiology experience, with preferred experience in acute care settings. Flexibility for shift hours is essential to support 24/7 emergency and surgical services.
