Job Summary
X-ray Technologist Location unspecified. This position involves performing prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department and facility policies, ensuring optimal patient care and treatment. The role requires delivering high-quality images and maintaining accurate documentation, supporting the healthcare team in delivering efficient and effective diagnostic services.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs radiographic procedures following departmental guidelines, utilizing independent judgment and established methodologies.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable, and BLS certification. Clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Call shifts and holidays, as assigned by department manager. Experience with stroke, trauma, pediatric, and cardiac cases preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
