Job Summary
Xray Technologist in the New York area. This position involves performing general radiographic procedures within a healthcare facility, adhering to established safety and quality standards. The role requires certification, licensing, and at least one year of experience in general radiography.
Job Details
- Location requirements: Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist, current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), at least 1 year of general radiographer experience, and a valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
- Schedule: Days shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM with workdays potentially including every other weekend or every weekend; workdays can be combined for 2 doubles and a single to make 5 days, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Performing radiographic procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring quality imaging under the supervision of healthcare staff.
- Certifications & Licensure: ARRT certification, NYSDOH licensure, and BLS certification (preferred).
