Job Details

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT OP)
• Location: Iowa City East
• Experience Requirement: 1+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; variable shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, and Location Requirements: Valid physical therapy license and degree from an accredited program; outpatient experience preferred, with at least one year of related clinical practice.
• Responsibilities include conducting evaluations (typically 60-minute sessions), providing treatment sessions (30-60 minutes), and managing a caseload involving orthopedic, post-op, and sports medicine patients spanning from adult to geriatric populations.
• Patient ratios aim for 50 patients per week with dovetailed treatment sessions, utilizing NextGen documentation systems.
• Staff support includes one physical therapist, one physical therapist assistant, rehab aides, and front desk staff.
• Dress code is business casual, including slacks, professional shirts, and closed-toe shoes.
• The environment is high volume with steady-paced workflow and friendly staff, supported by AI documentation tools to enhance clinical efficiency.
