Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist X-ray Technologist at Wenatchee, WA. This position involves performing a variety of x-ray examinations, including routine, fluoroscopy, operating room, and portable procedures, within an acute care hospital setting. The role requires utilizing advanced imaging equipment and working closely with radiologists to ensure diagnostic quality.
Job Details
- Required: ARRT certification; Washington State certification as radiologic technologist, registered in X Ray; Shimadzu portable experience; Rad speed pro, recent C-arm OR experience; EPIC experience; BLS certification; 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Evening shift; 12 hours per day; 36 hours per week (Friday-Sunday).
- Responsibilities include preparing and performing x-ray exams, reviewing images for quality, assisting radiologists during fluoroscopic procedures, supervising and training student technologists, utilizing PACS, RIS, and EMR systems efficiently, and adhering to all continuing education requirements.
- Additional requirements: Ability to lift patients safely, transfer patients using ergonomic techniques, communicate effectively with patients families, and follow safety guidelines such as ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely.
