Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization (CCL) Technologist position is available in the specialized area of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role involves assisting with procedures and providing diagnostic support by conducting organ or body scans on patients. The position requires preparing and positioning patients, selecting appropriate imaging parameters, administering contrast media, and supporting complex vascular and interventional procedures to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Catheterization (CCL) Technologist
• Shift Time: Days (Shift hours are 0645-1700 or 0700-1730)
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Provider (obtained within 1 month of hire), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credential as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (within 6 months of hire), Cardiographic Tech credential (from CCI), and Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential (from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Preferred credentials include Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

• Additional information: The role involves preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the scope of practice, observing patients during procedures, monitoring protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technologist will assist the Radiologist or Physician Assistant and support complex vascular and interventional procedures.
