Pediatric Ultrasonographer (ULTRA ECHO P) in en_US This position involves performing pediatric echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms, at a healthcare facility. The role requires providing high-quality imaging services in a hospital or clinical setting, supporting patient care teams with diagnostic assessments.
Job Details
- Location: Encompasses working within a healthcare organization providing pediatric ultrasound services.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid ARDMS or RCS certification in Pediatric Echocardiography or Fetal Echocardiography, with active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with call coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. The position includes floating to other units or departments as necessary, with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Performing specialized pediatric echocardiography procedures, utilizing equipment such as the Philips IE33, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The role also requires documentation and accurate charting in EPIC electronic medical records.
- Additional Information: Candidate must hold an unexpired drivers license outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and be willing to wait for a license submission if necessary. The position involves working in an acute care setting with a pediatric division, including at a pediatric clinic and a hospital environment.
