Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential; no minimum years of experience required; current licensure relevant to the state of practice.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Position Responsibilities: Deliver intensive respiratory treatments, operate ventilatory and nebulizer devices, and perform procedures such as chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and arterial punctures. Monitor oxygenation and perfusion, interpret cardiac rhythms, and conduct pulmonary function tests. Assist with procedures like bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care. Ensure patient safety through CPR and adherence to BLS and ACLS guidelines. Record treatment data accurately and communicate findings effectively with the care team. Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
