Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Nights Location unspecified. This position provides independent respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric patients across a variety of healthcare settings. The role involves collaboration with medical staff to assess, plan, and modify patient care strategies effectively.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Associate or technical degree, proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); RRT required for all new hires after October 1, 2015, with incumbents in the role as of October 1, 2015, required to have their RRT by October 1, 2017; current license as required by state law; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; in-home care setting requires a valid drivers license and eligibility for auto insurance coverage; employees must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if applicable; clinical experience of at least one year preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing, assembles, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains respiratory equipment, evaluates patient responses, and collaborates with healthcare team members. May supervise department staff and may float between campuses based on operational needs.
• Submission: Candidates must meet all listed qualifications and be willing to float between specified campuses.
