Description
Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Bethesda, MD. This position involves performing PET/CT scans at a healthcare facility specializing in diagnostic imaging. The technologist will utilize radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to conduct diagnostic examinations, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, radionuclide imaging of organs, dynamic studies, and assays of body fluids and tissues.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30am 6:00pm, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma including successful completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology; Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians; ARRT (N) certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certified with current registration; CPR certification; 0 years of experience
- Certifications: ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, CPR certification
- Additional Information: Experience with Siemens Biograph Vision or EPIC system preferred; previous employment with any Johns Hopkins system facility must be noted in the work history if applicable; verification of prior employment with Johns Hopkins facilities is required before offer
- Responsibilities include the performance or assistance in diagnostic examinations using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining accurate documentation
