Job Summary
Pharmacist, Inpatient Rangely, CO. This leadership role involves overseeing the safe, compliant, and effective operation of the pharmacy within a rural hospital setting. The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for prescription dispensing, regulatory oversight, staff coordination, clinical support, inventory management, immunization services, reimbursement, and medication safety, ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.

Job Details

• Position Description: Pharmacist in Charge at a retail pharmacy within a healthcare facility.
• Required Qualifications: PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience; Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing; CPR certification; Immunization certification.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsible for medication safety, regulatory compliance, inventory control, immunizations, and supporting credentialing activities related to pharmacy operations and payer participation. The role requires someone with strong leadership, operational skills, and a commitment to rural healthcare practice.
• Preferred Qualifications: Retail pharmacy practice, operations, reimbursement, and inventory control experience; familiarity with rural healthcare or a genuine interest in rural practice.
