Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatrics Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a busy respiratory department. The position requires working during night shifts, supporting a high-volume unit, and collaborating with a team of skilled respiratory therapy professionals.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for data collection and delivering respiratory care, including assisting with intubations and bronchoscopies, and managing ventilation equipment such as ventilators, Bipaps, Vapotherm, and vest therapy.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Life Support (ALS). Education requirements include a relevant respiratory therapy credential. Location requirements, if any, and a minimum of 0 years of experience are applicable.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves cross-unit support, including ICU/CCU, Emergency Room, floors, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The candidate must be adaptable to unit policies and dress code of grey scrubs. The position involves participation in weekend and on-call rotations.
