Job Details
- Position Description: Histologist in the Histology Laboratory, working on weekdays from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, totaling 8 hours per shift. The assignment duration is from 11/30/2026 to 02/27/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: HT (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or HTL (American Society for Clinical Pathology). Education Requirements: Not specified. Location Requirements: Vanderbilt area; location is 5 miles from Vanderbilt Main Campus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant histology experience; prior travel experience preferred.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must be available for orientation dates 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30 only, with no orientation during the week of 11/23. Availability to work 2 of 3 holidays. All time off must be pre-submitted; no excessive time off allowed. Must wear any color scrubs. No float rotation required.
