Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a healthcare facility offering acute care services. The position involves performing very basic nuclear medicine procedures, primarily stress tests, with a daily volume of 5 to 12 studies. The role requires flexibility in shift schedule, starting as soon as possible.

Job Details

Position Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist open to 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts, starting as soon as possible. The daily caseload ranges from 5 to 12 procedures, primarily stress tests.
Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification, California State License, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, and NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification are required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in nuclear medicine.
Location Requirements: Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with preference for local applicants.
Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: Candidates must include all RTO (Request for Time Off) at the time of submission; approval depends on facility needs. Must be able to work weekends and be flexible to attend weekend call. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination.
Certifications: Valid BLS, California State License, ARRT, and NMTCB required prior to start.
Submittal Requirements: Applicants must include responses to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility, and supply two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
