Dietitian, Pediatric Alaska
This position involves providing specialized nutritional care at an acute hospital setting. The role requires clinical expertise in pediatric nutrition, with a focus on delivering comprehensive dietetic services to a diverse patient population within a Level II Trauma facility.

Job Details

Position Description: Registered Dietitian with a strong preference for candidates with pediatric experience. The assignment length is either 13 or 26 weeks, based on traveler choice, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. No weekends or on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDNS) certification, at least 2 years of clinical experience including pediatric nutrition, active state license (pending license accepted), and possession of a clinical charting experience preferred (Epic system highly preferred).
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: The candidate should have experience with pediatric clinical nutrition, enteral nutrition, total parenteral nutrition, and nutrition assessment. Experience with Epic charting system and pediatric patient care is highly preferred. Travel participants must be willing to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and will float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed.
Submission Requirements: Include RTO preferences, state license verification (allowing pending license submissions), and two references covering recent 1-year (or 6 months for CNAs) work history.
