Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) for a healthcare facility located in Windsor, VT. This role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric to geriatric patient populations in a critical access hospital setting. The position requires working independently with various ventilation modes, airway management, and diagnostic procedures under minimal supervision.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Vermont RRT license required.
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Respiratory Therapy experience, including critical access/community hospital experience; candidate must have at least 6 months of travel experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include setting up and operating respiratory care equipment, managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation, drawing arterial blood gases (ABGs), assisting with intubations, and performing pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be able to work independently, be comfortable working weekend shifts alone, and be prepared to work during major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. They must have their own vehicle and include their perm address in their profile. All scheduling requests, including time off, must be submitted at the time of application. The role requires proficiency in electronic medical records (Cerner) and dress code compliance with business casual or scrubs.
