Job Summary
Polysomnographer Nights the organization is seeking an experienced polysomnographer to join its team on a night shift schedule. The role involves working with patients with sleep disorders, including OSA, CSA, and other cardiology and pulmonary conditions, utilizing specialized equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV to conduct sleep studies and evaluations.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA), Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) via NBRC, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT; Min Experience Required: 2 years
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include performing sleep studies, scoring NATUS sleep works, and operating sleep monitoring equipment.
• Candidate must attend one all-day education session at the hospital, complete one education module, and visit HR for badge issuance.
• No formal orientation to the lab beyond the introductory meeting.
• Must have experience working with pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, COPD, oxygen dependence, cardiology, REM behavior, and familiarity with sleep evaluation equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is EPIC.
• No requirement for RN titration of drips or nurse aids on site.
• The role includes working weekend schedules as scheduled, with no holiday, call, or standby requirements.
• Candidates must be willing to submit a license and wait for approval.
