Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Long Beach, CA. This 13-week contract position involves providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients within the healthcare provider's facility. The role requires float capabilities to general pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with a focus on managing advanced ventilator systems and neonatal respiratory interventions.

Job Details

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Location: Long Beach, CA
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT required
• Education & Experience: 2 years of clinical experience; minimum of 0 years experience with pediatric respiratory care; CA state license in hand; experience with pediatrics, PICU, and NICU settings preferred; experience managing Bubble CPAP, Ventilators such as HFOV, HFJV, Servo U, Astral Home Ventilators.
• Responsibilities: Providing respiratory therapy including aerosol setups, ventilator management, airway management, and patient monitoring for neonatal to adolescent patients, including critical care procedures.
• Additional Information: Employee will float to areas of need across pediatric and neonatal units, with specific experience managing high-frequency ventilation and neonatal resuscitation techniques.
