Job Details

• Position Description:
  Requisition: Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) responsible for delivering specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, with a focus on advanced ventilator management and understanding acid/base/electrolyte relationships.
• Required Qualifications:
  Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care, NY State license, RRT registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care, BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP and PALS preferred; knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships; minimum 0 years of experience.
• Schedule:
  Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Knowledge of advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships; experience in establishing patient ventilator settings using metric measurements; familiarity with electronic medical records (Meditech).
