This position involves supporting clinical interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting. Job Details

• Certifies active State Licensure when applicable.
• Experience requirement: 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required; new graduates with level II experience are also considered.
• Specialty: Physical Therapist Assistant, SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)
• Location: Texas
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Requirements include PT A license and submitting a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Responsibilities include utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver various therapeutic procedures, assessing patient progress, communicating with supervising Physical Therapists, and documenting all clinical interactions in electronic records.
• Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and required trainings.
• Supports supervised students and adheres to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
