The role requires working 12-hour day shifts, with rotations for holidays and weekends, supporting a dynamic pediatric healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7am 7:30pm, with scheduled weekend and holiday rotations.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NRP, required. WI License and NBRC RRT (must be RRT).
• Education: Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Years of Experience: 0 minimum required, 3-5 years of pediatric critical care or NICU experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include managing respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations and extubations, suctioning, and administering treatments.
• Clinical environment involves a 24-bed pediatric cardiac ICU, 24-bed pediatric medical ICU, 24-bed pediatric surgical ICU, and a 70-bed Level IV NICU.
• Experience with ventilators such as Servo I and Servo U, Astral, Trilogy, oscillators, and knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Charting: Epic Clin Doc preferred.
• Float requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, potentially to general acute care units, emergency department, and other pediatric units.
• Scrubs: Any professional scrubs.
• Jewelry: Small nose stud permitted; other visible piercings are not allowed.
• Flu vaccine required.
• No minimum years of experience explicitly required.
• Interview scheduled days: Monday through Friday, via Manager Phone or MSP interviews.
• Start Date: 11/09/2026
• End Date: 02/06/2027
