The position includes delivering patient transport, evaluating treatment plans, operating ventilatory devices, and assisting with procedures related to respiratory therapy.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Certified or licensed as a Respiratory Therapist, with a current license (or eligible) in Pennsylvania, and no minimum experience required.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing physician-prescribed respiratory treatments, operating ventilatory equipment, conducting pulmonary function studies, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and monitoring patient responses.
• Capnography, oximetry, and chest x-ray review are essential components of the role.
• Performs arterial puncture, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation adhering to BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment, records treatment data accurately, and communicates effectively with physicians and team members.
• Additional clinical duties include assisting with laboratory testing, performing endotracheal intubation, and ensuring proper maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Submission of current certifications and licensure upon application is required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
