Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: NovaCare Fredericksburg - Southpoint Parkway. This outpatient therapy role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective return to community activities. The position requires delivering professional discipline-specific therapy services, educating patients and families, and adhering to organizational safety and compliance standards.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Completes comprehensive evaluations, develops treatment plans, and documents medical records accurately and timely. Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance parameters. Participates in student programs, provides mentorship, and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
• Additional Information: Applies clinical reasoning to achieve patient discharge goals within established length of stay. Actively pursues professional development through continuing education and professional activities. Adheres to state practice acts and regulatory standards. Demonstrates commitment to organizational performance improvement initiatives.
