Job Summary
Radiology Technologist (X-ray Tech) Location: Not Specified. This position involves supporting the IR (Interventional Radiology) department within the organizations acute care setting. The role includes performing diverse radiologic procedures in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on vascular, neuro, drains, and lines patient cases. Candidates will be tasked with scrubbing, passing supplies, and setting up and taking down procedures in a catheterization lab setting.
Job Details
- Certifications Needed: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Education & Experience: 2 years of minimum experience required; 0 years of experience as a baseline, with the expectation of at least two years for qualified candidates
- Location Requirements: IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Schedule: 9-hour shifts, four days per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027
- Responsibilities include operating Philips monitors, using the EPIC charting system, managing vascular, neuro, drains, and lines patient cases, and working within a unit that handles 20-30 cases daily
- Call and weekend coverage are required, with a response time of 30 minutes. No floating may be required, but coverage includes substantial call and holiday shifts
