Job Summary
MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty, located in an unspecified location. This role involves operating MRI equipment to produce detailed images of patients' anatomy, supporting diagnostic processes. The position requires the ability to follow protocols closely and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 3-11 pm, and Saturday from 7 am-11 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position Description: Position patients on examining tables, place coils close to the area of interest, and follow protocols as specified by the radiologist. Demonstrate the use of microphones for communication, enter patient data into the computer system, and observe images to ensure quality. Alert staff to any safety concerns related to metal objects around the magnet.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited radiology program, NJ State registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) license, MRI certification, BLS certification, 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technician, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, excellent communication skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ability to read and interpret documents, ability to work independently
