Description
Job Summary
Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab Specialty Cath Lab. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist scrubs and circulates procedures while independently operating imaging equipment. The role supports cardiac procedures and requires proficiency with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump insertion during scrubbing.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call is required 1 day per week and approximately 1 weekend per month.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Technologist certification (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; New Hampshire radiologic technologist license; ability to scrub and circulate cases; ability to independently operate imaging equipment; experience with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump insertion for scrubbing.
- Additional Information:
- Supports TAVR, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, PFO, PCI, ASD, MitraClip, and CardioMEMS procedures.
- Uses Philips and GE fluoroscopy systems, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump equipment.
- Mac-Lab documentation experience is not required.
- Scrubs are provided.
- Cardiac patient experience is required.
