Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Hoffman Estates, IL. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in a busy Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role includes floating to various units such as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical Surgical units, with a focus on ensuring optimal respiratory care for diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification, active respiratory therapist (RRT) credential, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Responsibilities include delivering respiratory treatments, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume NICU setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to PICU, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Adult ICU, and Medical Surgical units.
• Submission requirements: License/Certificate Verification, Ascension Profile, three professional references, Ascension Skills Checklist, and resume.
