The role requires working under supervision to assess patient progress and report outcomes, contributing to the overall rehabilitation process.

Job Details

• Position Description: Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years PTA experience; Texas or Compact license.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Guaranteed hours policy applies when the traveler remains onsite and available to work, even if patient volume is insufficient to fulfill scheduled hours. Travelers are expected to proactively manage their caseloads using available referrals and treatment opportunities, and communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership.
