Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient Orthopedics Norwich, CT. The contract position provides outpatient orthopedic care for patients with various musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, communicating treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams, reporting patient progress, and collaborating with other therapists and specialty physicians.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Masters degree in Physical Therapy; current license in the state of practice; at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience; at least 1 year of experience with manual therapy techniques.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 1416 patients per day; 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist; 2 years of experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures.
• Additional Information: Provides assistance to colleagues in identifying patient-care issues and works collaboratively with a team of therapists. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries, communicating treatment plans effectively, and reporting patient progress to physicians and specialty physicians.
