Job Summary

Dietitian (DIET) position responsible for leading dietary and food service operations within a healthcare setting. The role oversees menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, equipment, and departmental operations while providing hands-on leadership across all active shifts, including scheduled weekends.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Food Services or Certified Dietary Manager certification; 2 years of experience as a Dietary Manager in a healthcare setting; minimum of 4 years of experience in the healthcare food service industry.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Plans, directs, and supervises dietary and related food service functions, including therapeutic and non-therapeutic diet and menu planning. Oversees the proper storage and preparation of food supplies and equipment, as well as the maintenance of food service areas according to sanitation standards. Plans and monitors the departmental budget and provides operational oversight and leadership for 9 dietary staff members across all active shifts, including scheduled weekends. The role requires a hands-on approach, including occasional coverage during critical staffing gaps.
