Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, RT PEDS Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This position provides direct respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients on the night shift. The role supports respiratory therapy assessment and treatment, consults with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness, and serves as an advanced respiratory care resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; 36 hours per week.
Assignment: 13 weeks, beginning 11/09/2026.
Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; 4+ years of experience; experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience.
Additional Information: Performs direct patient care across all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders, consults physicians regarding therapy effectiveness, and performs other assigned duties. Night-shift orientation occurs on the day shift, with availability required for the entire orientation week. Black scrubs are required; torn clothing and open-toed shoes are not permitted. Flu vaccination or an approved exemption is required from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
