Job Summary

Registered Respiratory Therapist, RT PEDS. This position provides respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders through assessment, treatment, monitoring, and documentation. The role includes collaboration with physicians and the use of therapeutic techniques such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure; graduation from an accredited program; successful completion of a certification examination; at least 1 year of experience.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include interviewing and examining patients with cardiopulmonary disorders; consulting with physicians to develop treatment plans; monitoring and documenting treatment progress in patient charts; and providing chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments. The position requires prolonged standing or sitting, occasional bending, stooping, or stretching, lifting up to 20 pounds, eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and use of standard office equipment. Flexibility may be required to accommodate occasional early or late meetings.
